A Transitional Living Program

Koinonia Cottage is an 18 month transitional living program for new moms (single parenting or birthmothers) who have successfully completed the Heart of Hope Maternity Home program or Hope Academy and need residential support offering a safe and Christian environment in which to establish goals that will assist and equip you for successful independent living.

Our program offers:

• Free Housing for Mom and Child
• Dependable transportation
• Access to medical care and support services
• Bible studies and other opportunities for spiritual renewal
• A safe and secure environment that promotes well-being
• Opportunities to build a supportive community with other mothers in similar situations
• Guidance and education on parenting skills and healthy family dynamics
• Access to educational and vocational training programs
• Help in preparing for independent living and financial stability
• Emotional support and counseling to cope with the challenges of single parenting
